Our Team & Our Partners

Salt & Wind Travel was created by the team of the food travel site, Salt & Wind. We believe everyday should have an air of vacay, whether you’re on the road or in your kitchen, and aim to help you live an inspired life. After two years of sharing our love for all things food and travel online, we decided it was time to travel together! These are the people and partners who help make the trips come to life:

Shopping In Mexico

We launched Salt & Wind Travel because we believe travel is way more fun when you have a good partner and who better than you!?! Our trips are all about balance: refined but with a touch of real world grit; some relaxation and a lot of exploring; exercise along with quality food and drink; meticulous planning with some impromptu events; and a small group of fellow food and travel lovers.

Aida Mollenkamp Valle De Guadalupe

Aida Mollenkamp, Food & Travel Expert

Salt & Wind founder, Aida Mollenkamp, has a made her career in food travel media and has crisscrossed the globe searching out unique destinations. She has worked in kitchens, hotels, and in media since her teens and studied at the Cornell Hotel School and Le Cordon Bleu Paris so she takes food, travel, and hospitality seriously. All roads in Aida's life lead to the intersection of food and travel. A native Californian, she loves a coastal road trip just as much as a hop across the pond. She travels in the name of making new friends, trying new taste, and uncovering finds. She founded Salt & Wind to help people travel in good taste!
